Happykids Kindergarten

Adhering to the philosophy of the IB curriculum combined with the ShanghaiSecond-stage curriculum reform course, Happykids Kindergarten has defined a curriculum framework of trans-disciplinary themes for kindergarten and organized inquiry-based learning for children. It is also supplemented by a special curriculum of English, science, physical education, music, aesthetics, baking, and curriculum of transit to primary school, which is organically integrated with the UOI inquiry unit.

The age of 3-6 is an important period in a child's development, a prime time for developing a mindset and behavioural habits. Happykids IB-PYP program focuses on stimulating students' internal motivation and developing critical thinking so that they can acquire a positive mindset, embrace different cultures and develop their own knowledge and understanding of the world while acquiring a learning approach.

English Immersion Courses

HappyKids kindergarten takes full account of the development of a second language in children whose first language is not English and its relationship to their first language, creating a happy bilingual environment, where children can truly acquire both Chinese and English without sacrificing their first language.

Happykids Kindergarten creates a bilingual environment for children the whole day, with native-speaking foreign teachers organizing the children's daily life and learning in English, giving them ample opportunities for language stimulation and practice, integrating phonics teaching in IB inquiry learning, and developing their ability to listen, speak, read and write English.

Baking Class

Baking classes at Happykids are a combination of fun, hands-on and creative activities. Through the children's hands, they create beautiful baked creations. It allows children to fully engage their senses and exercise finger coordination; children use their hands to knock, pat, roll, pull and mix and use a variety of materials to create, allowing children's creativity to be maximized and helping children to build self-confidence and a love of life.

Featured Physical Fitness Class

Happykids Kindergarten's professional physical fitness program develops in children love for sports. Therefore, children are able to play sports, and to enhance all aspects of their motor skills while having fun. Curriculum of transit to primary school

Happykids Kindergarten has a holistic approach to the bridging of kindergarten and primary school, with a step-by-step approach that allows for a seamless transition, helping growth rather than pulling up seedlings, focusing on the bridging of learning methods and interests, considering learning habits, physical and mental health, communication and cognitive reserves, etc. to achieve a comprehensive and systematic bridging.

Orff music class

The music classes at HappyKids allow children to build a foundation of "listening" to music, develop interest in music, construct an "artistic imagination" and plant the seeds of appreciation for beauty and expression. STEM course

The STEM curriculum is a new type of integrated science curriculum, which includes the knowledge content of the four major areas of S-Science, T-Technology, E-Engineering and M-Mathematics. Creative Art

Happykids Kindergarten pays attention to thecultivation of children's appreciation of art, through the three aspects of nature - art - life, combined with the characteristics of the child's doodling period. It provides systematic training for self-expression and communication, the development of their imagination, creativity and artistic aesthetic ability. Thus, it promotes the overall growth of children's physical and mental intelligence.
