Termination of “African discoveries” summer camp

2019-09-04

The more discoveries there are, the more our children are eager to learn. They ask questions and we help them to find the answers, they observe, and they learn, they experience, and they remember.

Only a month ago, children had separation anxiety, they were stressed, and they denied participating in various activities. But look at them now! They grew up, they became more self-reliant and confident, they made more new friends and learned more new things.

We were happy to invite all the parents to see what a great job the children have done during our “African discoveries” summer camp.

The teachers prepared lots of workshops and activities to make this day fun and entertaining.

Children and parents made different kinds of crafts. Later, they might give their hand-made art works to someone as a gift or keep them at home as a nice memory.

Our lovely kids wore voodoo masks and did the traditional style face painting.

Children were singing and dancing with their parents

There were many interesting crafts to do on the way. Every craft had its own story that everyone wanted to know about.

Look! Every child is sure that the most beautiful artwork in the kindergarten was made by him/her.

The cook of HappyKids Kindergarten makes extraordinary meals for our children every day. We tip our caps to the chef!

The children enjoyed the buffet with their parents.

The children were looking forward for the yummy food. Everyone was so happy when it finally arrived!

Wow, it tastes extraordinary! I have to share it with my mom!

Every success story is a tale of constant adaptation revision and change. We’re proud of all the children, who have grown and became stronger after the summer camp experience.

The “African discoveries” summer camp organized by HappyKids kindergarten was successfully finished! We will keep in our memories all the positive moments we had together. The children have gained a lot of knowledge about Africa, they also have learned how to make African style crafts and how to do African dance moves. Moreover, our children had a great fun while visiting Africa pavilion in the museum.

The world can be changed by man's endeavor, and that this endeavor can lead to something new and better. No man can sever the bonds that unite him to his society simply by averting his eyes. He must ever be receptive and sensitive to the new; and have sufficient courage and skill to novel facts and to deal with them. -- Franklin Roosevelt (American President)

We had an amazing time learning about beautiful Africa. Even though summer camp is over, our learning journey is to be continued…
